Dillon Update
Juniors sail out of the most protected part of the Dillon marina on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006.Who might we be sailing with next weekend in the Dillon Open? So, far 71 boats have registered.
A comparison of registrations so far this year with last year's entrants gives an idea of how big the regatta might be.

We've found a whole lot of stuff, such as tuning numbers, online, but if you know any secrets we should know, send an email.
Meanwhile, we have discovered that one of the hotshot sailors here was really excited to find that someone was bringing an Etchells to the Dillon Open. He's actively looking for one to buy (in about the $6K range -- nothing fancy, but serviceable). I'm thinking maybe it wasn't an accident that we got a slip right across from his while we're here.
Lasers do it in dozens.
